Hi, I'm Harrison. My goal: make it easier for businesses to do the right thing.
📍 Greater Vancouver & Kitchener–Waterloo, Canada
Final-year Sustainability & Financial Management (Honours, Co-op) student at the University of Waterloo, with four co-op terms in sustainability assurance at PwC Canada. I'm drawn to the gap between ESG and business performance — verifying that what companies report is real, and helping turn responsible practice into something businesses are recognized for. CPA & CRST in progress.
About
A quick intro
My goal is simple: make it easier for businesses to do the right thing — and to be recognized for it — by closing the gap between ESG and business performance. I'm a final-year student at the University of Waterloo in Sustainability and Financial Management, focused on sustainability assurance and the role of finance in enabling responsible development.
I grew up across Canada's resource towns — Timmins and Red Lake in Northern Ontario, then Bowen Island and North Vancouver, BC, before Waterloo. That gave me a first-hand understanding of resource-based economies and the communities tied to them, and it shapes how I think about sustainability getting embedded into real operations.
Across four co-op terms with PwC Canada's sustainability practice, I've contributed to high-complexity assurance engagements spanning mining, utilities, and manufacturing — building strong competency in disclosure frameworks (GRI, TSM, ICMM, Copper Mark) and multi-jurisdiction regulatory systems.
ESG is fast becoming a data-driven discipline that cuts across finance, so I'm deliberately building the analytics and automation skills to work at that intersection. I value integrity, practical insight, and solutions that hold up against both operational and community priorities.

What I'm building now
A deliberate roadmap as I build analytics and automation skills at the intersection of sustainability and finance.
OBPS Compliance Data Tool
A data-mapping web tool that structures facility emissions data for Output-Based Pricing System (OBPS) carbon-compliance reporting — tracing reported figures back to source and flagging gaps before they reach assurance review.
Carbon-Pricing / Emissions Mini-Tool
A small Python / Streamlit tool that checks reported emissions against a carbon-pricing threshold and flags outliers in a dataset.
